ISPhone Announces Asterisk-Compatible Billing Solution
Traverse City, (MI) – April 17, 2007 – ISPhone announced that its VoIP-PRO 3 authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) software now supports Asterisk, the open-source PBX platform. VoIP-PRO is the first AAA application to offer compatibility with this popular platform.
Many service providers are using Asterisk as a “softswitch.” However, Asterisk does not natively support prepaid calling. VoIP-PRO 3 bridges this gap by enabling service providers to set up and manage accounts, rate plans and other features essential to a prepaid offering.
