ISPhone releases Asterisk Connector for Service Providers
TRAVERSE CITY, Michigan – July 6, 2007 – ISPhone today announced Asterisk Connector, a plug-in that allows Asterisk to operate with software that uses the RADIUS protocol. When Asterisk Connector is installed on an Asterisk server, it provides a bridge between Asterisk and any RADIUS-based system.
“Asterisk Connector fills an important market need,” said Victor von Schlegell, ISPhone’s president. “Many service providers have invested in billing systems based on RADIUS but want to use the Asterisk platform. To do so, they need software that enables Asterisk to ‘talk to’ their legacy systems. The Asterisk Connector fills this gap.”
